Poonam Jhawar made her debut in bollywood in Mohra, a movie starring Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, and Suniel Shetty. In the movie, she played the lead role as Suniel Shetty’s wife. Before this movie she had done many ad-commercials. Once a producer saw her in an advertisement and called her for a screen test. This was how her acting carrier took off in bollywood.she has acted and also sung a song, Sun Meri Rani, as a playback singer in the movie Aanch which was released in 2003.This was a cinematic film and she has produced it under her banner.
